He is the referred-to forward in the Italian top division. He has played for Italy
in two excellent editions of the World Championships, whether in France in 1998

Last season he supported Inter, contesting the League Champions and reaching the

He made his debut for Italy in November 2002 against Turkey and from that moment
he became one of the mainstays of the Italian midfield. His talents as a tackler
and his disposition have been invaluable during the qualifying phase of the European
Championships. Whilst playing for Italy he was European Under 21 champion in 2000
in the selected team trained by Marco Tardelli.
He made his division A debut in 1998 with the Juventus line-up. After an interlude
with Bari, he moved to Chievo Verona, with whom he played three brilliant seasons,

A player with great international experience, Gary Neville is undoubtedly one
of the most representative players of the English national team. To his credit
he can boast participation in the 1996 and 2000 European Championships, and the
1998 World Championships. With his seven appearances during the qualifying phase
he was one of players to determine England's entry into the 2004 European Championships.
For more than ten years he has flown the flag for Manchester United, with whom
he has won six English titles, two FA Cups, one League Champions, in the memorable
final in 1999 against Bayern Monaco, and one Intercontinental Cup. He is the older
brother of Phil who is also a Manchester mainstay and convened to the European
