He is the referred-to forward in the Italian top division. He has played for Italy in two excellent editions of the World Championships, whether in France in 1998 or in Korea and Japan in 2002. A player with great international experience, Gary Neville is undoubtedly one of the most representative players of the English national team. To his credit he can boast participation in the 1996 and 2000 European Championships, and the 1998 World Championships. With his seven appearances during the qualifying phase he was one of players to determine England's entry into the 2004 European Championships.

For more than ten years he has flown the flag for Manchester United, with whom he has won six English titles, two FA Cups, one League Champions, in the memorable final in 1999 against Bayern Monaco, and one Intercontinental Cup. He is the older brother of Phil who is also a Manchester mainstay and convened to the European Championships.
